As usual, there was tons and tons of music at the Carrboro Music Festival this past year (2009). But the jams that really stood out to me were pumped out by the funky latinesque trio known as "The Guns of El Borracho". Funky keys, Latin style drums and a great radial bass/guitar hybrid. No vocals at all just great jams one right after another. A great band for mixing it up or just relaxing. This is the first I've even heard of the band and I'm sure not the last.
