When this webzine first got started, this band called "Yarn" sent me some promo stuff. I thought the name was a bit funny so, interested, I took a look. What I found was band with a retro sound that struck a chord in my soul - I dare say I have never before compared a band to one of my fav albums but, Yarn has this way of always giving me that "Exile on Main Street" feeling. I think they've been through town twice this year before and last month I finally got to catch the act - What I found blew me away with tasteful covers, original music and some fantastic solos. I love a good acoustic band with good taste and party atmosphere. Yarn is sure to please!!
