Howdy y’all!!!
This is your official invitation to the PBaRbor Day Pharm Festival. Come celebrate life, music, good people, PBR, fire, love, dancing and ARBOR DAY!!!
The night is going to start around 6 or 7 pm with a feast, all the PBR you can handle, games, and an interactive PBR themed art installation, and an lots of music. We will be providing several dishes to contribute to a potluck dinner, but we highly encourage everyone to bring a dish as well. And just in case it needs saying, expect a massive bonfire, lots of fire spinning and beautiful friendly people as far as the eye can see.
Make sure you come out early enough to see OCTOPLEX (http://www.myspace.com/octoplex) an up and coming improv spacey jam group take the stage and show all of us what they got!
Later in the evening we'll be hosting a hell of a dance party. DJ FORTY OZ (http://www.myspace.com/thedj40oz) will be bringing the beats for as long as he can handle it or as long as we can get away with it. Whichever comes first :)
In the spirit of Arbor Day, we will be raising money for Toxic Free NC, a local non-profit dedicated to fighting pesticide pollution in NC.
Important details:
-CAMPING IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED, we have room for all of you!!!
-THIS IS A 21+ EVENT. We will be checking ID’s and giving out bracelets.
-We are asking everyone for a $5 DONATION from each person to raise money for Toxic Free NC and to help our environment.
-ALL VEHICLES MUST PARK at the Food Lion at the corner of Tryon and Lake Wheeler. Seriously.
-BRING YOUR INSTRUMENTS!!!!
For those of you that enjoy schedules, here’s about how it’s gonna go:
6:00 – 8:30ish Pharm subsidized potluck dinner and open mic jam
8:30 – 10:00ish Octoplex
10:00 – 11:00ish More open mic jam
11:00 – ??? DJ Forty Oz
