Q: Can I change my email address?A: Sadly, no. The one email address per account is currently a quality feature that ensures less confusion and more effenciancy to the Directory. If you really need to muddy up the waters, just go get another free accoiunt and use another email address.
Q: Do I have to fill out all the tabs on the profile edit page?A: No! - only fill in the tabs that are relevant to you. Leave the rest blank. You can go back and edit your profile at any time. Add some more or delete some of what you have.
Q: Where's the Singer Songwriter catagory?A: This was a point of contension in the design phase however, after some thought we decided that singer/songwriters MUST be musicians first. So, if you are one of those people, simply fill out the "musician" tab on your profle and check the boxes for "vocals" and/or whatever instruments you use to create your songs- viola! -you're a singer/songwriter! We HAVE included "singerSongWriter" in the genres drop down, so you should select that as your "first" genre.
Q: How come my picture looks funny?A: We are not an image editiing software company (yet!). We do hope that we can provide you with a more efficient way to do this and we are working on it. But, for now - just make sure your picture fits inside the contstraints/dimensions and you'll come out looking just fine. (Maximum size 100KB)
Q: Can I advertise on LiveAudioMag.com?A: Sure - In the begining of our release/ kickoff - pages will use "Google Adsense" only. Our future plans include hosting our own ads so, if you'd like to be a client early on - please feel free to contact us and let us know what you have in mind. YOU could have the first and only custom ad causing you to stand out from the rest!
Q: How do I contact another member on LiveAudioMag?A: Siimple - for communicating with other LiveAudioMag members, we use the PM (private messaging) system. Any time you see a users name in a clickable format (which is always) click on their name and it will take you to their profile. There in the left hand box, click on "message" and you will be taken to the compose page of the PM system with their name pre-filled. (Must be a registered member, and logged in)
Q: OK- I"m new, what's the "control" feature for?A: The control feature is located in the control panel (top right) and will list each item you have posted to LiveAudioMag.com by category. Make sure you're logged in and then simply choose one of the categories from the drop down menu. To see what others have posted, go to their profile and click on the categories in the left hand box. |
